Sue was born and bred in Trelawny, Jamaica, cooking has always been a big part of her life. All her family would cook and eat jerk chicken whilst enjoying family life. Life Reggae music, Jamaican food is vibrant, full of energy and leaves you feeling Irie. 

Ellie is British born with Caribbean taste and has a passion to cook.

 

Big Tings Jerk came into being after Sue and Ellie went to several reggae festivals and found out that the ‘Jamaican’ food sold there were lacking the Island’s unique flavour.  After several left downs, the idea came to them ‘why don’t we start cooking and delivering in the local area?

 

The secret to great- tasting dishes is in the quality of the ingredients used, that is why Big Tings will only use authentic Jamaican products. Let us share this experience with you.
